五百年前的朝鲜时代，拥有灵性笛子的道士天冠大师和道术极高的花潭深受神仙的爱戴，神仙们请求恋人跟封印妖怪，两人义不容辞的答应下来。天冠大师有一个精通奇门遁甲的底子田禹治，虽然天赋很高但是也爱用小聪明闯祸，这令天冠大师头痛不已。这天，田禹治再次因为使用遁地术让民间引起骚动，花潭知道后便去找天冠大师问罪，意外发现天冠大师已经不知所踪，于是就把田禹治和小跟班封印在一个画卷中

五百年过去了，妖怪们不知为何都逃脱出来重新回到人间，曾经的神仙都隐退为现代的和尚和算命师，他们决定找当年的花潭商量重新封印妖怪，但是却找不到花潭和天冠，无奈之下几人只好放出了被封印的田禹治，希望他能封印被放出来的妖怪。
